Election Court and Dinner
The 2016 Election Court and Dinner took place at Cutlers' Hall on 28th July 2016.
In a well-rehearsed procedure, the Company's Wardens moved along the bench with Court Assistant Robin McNeill Love being sworn in as the new Craft Warden. A vote of thanks was recorded for outgoing Third Warden Mike Shepherd for 4 years' service as a Warden as he joined the benches as a Past Prime Warden; a similar vote of thanks was recorded for retiring Father of the Company Brian Land as his position was taken by Past Prime Warden Emeritus Rodney Lyons.

History was made as, for the first time in the long history of the Company, wives joined Court members at the dinner which followed the Court. Mrs Anne Regan thanked the Court for the opportunity to attend and thanked her predecessor, Mrs Marion Whitehead for her support to husband Nigel throughout his year in office.
